Kyla takes pride in creating a safe therapeutic space in which all children and all family structures are welcomed and honoured. 

With over 14 years experience working with children and adolescents, Kyla combines evidenced-based and expressive treatment approaches to help young people reach their optimal growth, development and mental health.

Unlike a generalist counsellor, Kyla’s specialized therapeutic services are tailored to the specific developmental needs of children and teens. Kyla provides therapeutic support in the following areas:

  • INSURANCE COVERAGE - Fees are reimbursable under many work extended benefit insurance plans.
  • PRIVATE PAY - cash, cheque or e-transfer
  • Fees paid to a clinical social worker are typically considered to be tax-deductible medical expenses by Revenue Canada.
  • Typical Cost per Session = $180/hr
  • Sliding Scale Fee Option Considered Upon Request
